When You Need Chimney and Leadwork
Mortar is missing between the bricks of your chimney stack, leaving loose bricks. Water is leaking into your loft space directly around the base of the chimney stack. Lead flashings around your chimney, dormers, or roof valleys have pulled away or cracked. The chimney pot is leaning, cracked, or the cement flaunching has broken apart.
How We Do It
We examine the chimney stack, brickwork integrity, and all lead flashings from scaffolding. We rake out damaged mortar joints and repoint using weather-resistant sand and cement mix. We replace deteriorated lead flashings, step flashings, and valley linings with code-compliant rolled lead. We rebuild damaged flaunching around pots and ensure all weather seals are secure.
